March  2013 - The Delta School District and the Backyard Cooperative are pleased to announce that The Corporation of Delta will be partnering to ensure the success of Project Pickle.

Initially, The Corporation of Delta will participate in a Horticulture awareness steering committee and supply the soil for our school neighbourhood farms.

April  2013 - The Delta School District and the Backyard Cooperative are pleased to announce that Sole Food Street Farms Vancouver will be partnering with us to assist in delivering urban agriculture techniques and strategies for underutilized school owned  lands.

Sole Food Street Farms is now the largest urban farming operation in North America and our relationship will be built around integrating the framework and model of Project Pickle in to a template for other municipalities, cities and regions. 

May  2013 - The Delta school District and the Backyard Cooperative are pleased to announce that Port Metro Vancouver will be partnering in Project Pickle.

Initially, PMV will provide funds for the construction of a Hoop House. 

March 2014 - An expansion of our relationship with Kwantlen is underway. Institute for Sustainable Food Sytems (ISFS) students will be "adopting " a Delta school and will work with the sponsor teacher to iniiate unit based curriclums and plan for summer plantings and maintenance of the school farms.

March 2015 - Project Pickle delegation was received at the legislature in Victoria to talk about agriculture in the K-!6 curriculum

January 2016 - Discussions underway with Westcoast Vegetables to initiate an agriculture program at Sacred Heart school. Westcoast will build a green house for the students and Project Pickle will provide the classroom and farm programming.

January 2016 - Farm Roots Mini School will open at the Boundary Beach Elementary site this coming fall

July 2017 - Port Metro Vancouver contributes to Project Pickle in the form of a community grant. Their generous support has ensured our work with children continues.

March 2018 - Grateful to BCYN for assisting to fund our important work

June 2023 - The Southlands community has donated a plot of land for a Project Pickle "teaching farm". so very grateful
